Our Story
Vineye Photo School (VPS) was born in the year 2002 out of Vinay Parelkar’s passion for sharing his photography knowledge – acquired over three decades as a professional and fine art photographer, with the rest of the world. The mission of the school is to inspire people to pursue their interest in photography and enhance their skills to truly master this form of art.
Vineye Photo School has gained global recognition and appreciation with students from across the globe, including USA, Europe, Canada, South Africa, UAE and Australia.

- ARPS – Associate of Royal Photographic Society, UK, 1987. Was the youngest Indian to do so.
- AFIAP – Artiste De La Federation Internationale De L’Art Photographique, [Artist of The International Federation of Art Photography] Belgium, 2004 for Digital Black & White Art Works
- FFIP – Fellowship of Federation of Indian Photography, India, 2005 for Digital Black & White Art Works

- Assisted for three years with India’s acclaimed Ace Advertising & Industrial Photographer Late Wilas Bhende, ARPS, ABIPP and Art & Commerical Photographer Late Sharad Devare, ARPS, AFIAP, AIIPC
- Gold Medal at Photographic Society of America for Six Month’s photographic competition, 1985
- Photographer of the Year in 1983, 1984 & 1985 of The Photographic Society of India, Mumbai
- The Advertising Club Bombay Award, 1995
- Won awards at the Photo Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Govt.Of India, 1992, 2004 & 2005
- Won several awards & laurels at International & National Photography Competitions over a period of thirty years
- Presented One-Man Photographic Shows in Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai and various other places
- Over a period of twenty five years clientele ranges from various Advertising Agencies, MNC’s to National Geographic Television
- Art Photographs in the Permanent Collection of Lalit Kala Akademi, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh & Private collectors
- At present extensively involved in Advertising and Industrial Photography & Corporate Film making
- Being invited as a judge in various photography competitions, as well as a guest speaker & workshop faculty at different photographic organizations & institutions
